Music of the Baroque - Fathers & Sons

A Seattle native and principal flutist of the Seattle Symphony explores the musical dialogue between father and son through an evening featuring works by Bach, his son C.P.E., and Mozart. The program includes J.S. Bachs Orchestral Suite No. 4 in D Major, BWV 1069, which embodies Baroque elegance, alongside C.P.E. Bachs Flute Concerto in G Major that breaks away from traditional forms, as well as W.A. Mozarts Symphony in F Major and his Flute Concerto No. 2 in D Major, K.314.
