The Yale Whiffenpoofs

The Whiffenpoofs of 2026 are thrilled to present at ASU Kerr, blending timeless classics with modern hits! This performance marks their Arizona tour kickoff, celebrating hometown roots in Phoenix where current member Lucas Oland calls home. Each year, fourteen senior Yale students earn the honor of joining the Whiffenpoofsthe worlds oldest and most renowned a cappella ensemble. Established in 1909 as a quartet meeting at Mory's Temple Bar, the group has grown into one of Yales most cherished traditions. Their repertoire spans historic Yale songs, jazz standards, and decades of popular music, with over two hundred live performances across six continents annually. Past engagements have included President Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Reagan, alongside venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. Television appearances include The Sing Off, The West Wing, and Glee.
