Based in Santa Cruz, California, they met as teenagers, jamming together at local bluegrass festivals until one day they decided to form a group. The current lineup includes mandolin player and vocalist AJ Lee, fiddler Jan Purat, and guitarists Scott Gates and Sullivan Tuttle.
