Local Artist Series: Wake Up Mama - An Allman Brothers Tribute

A Portland tribute group dedicated to the Allman Brothers Band, established in 2022 by devoted fans eager to perform their classic material. The ensemble has rapidly built a loyal following, selling out shows at venues like Portland House of Music and Vinegar Hill Theatre, and drawing large crowds across multiple festivals. This all-star lineup features Max Sullivan on slide guitar and vocals, Tom Douglas on guitar and vocals, Jeff Glidden on drums, Kellen Hughey on bass, Marc Kaplan on percussion, Kevin Roper on keyboards and vocals, Chris Dow on drums, and Charlie Bonnin on vocals. They perform many of the band's signature songs including Whipping Post, Jessica, In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, Revival, and more. The group is honored to be making their Portsmouth debut at Jimmy's Jazz and Blues.
