Local Artist Series: The Tony Mack Band

For more than a decade this seven-member classic rock and R&B group has energized audiences along New Hampshire's, Maine's, and Massachusetts' coastal regions by performing deep cuts rarely heard on stage but beloved by fans. The band was established in 2012 by Tony Blockis on guitar, who built his musical foundation through years playing with various groups across the tri-state area during the 1970s and 1980s. As a recording studio proprietor, audio engineer, and producer he has collaborated with artists including Tommy Shaw from Styx and Richie Cannata from Billy Joel's ensemble, as well as Atlantic Records. His musical inspirations span Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Larry Carlton, Santana, Joe Walsh, David Gilmour, and others.
