Learnmore Jonasi

Jonasi is a Zimbabwean stand-up comedian and actor who stands over six feet tall. His comedy stems from personal experiences, everyday observations, and his elevated perspective, producing laughter that resonates across audiences. He has performed alongside major African artists in twenty nations at theatres, festivals, comedy clubs, and television programs. Jonasi won the 2023 Boston Comedy Festival and the 2023 Jersey City audience choice award. In 2019 he received the National Arts Merit Award for Outstanding Comedian of the Year, the Savanna Comic Choice Award for Pan African Comic of the Year, and was named Peoples Choice winner in Steve Harveys Stand Up Spotlight competition. He earned a golden buzzer on Americas Got Talent and finished fifth in 2024.
