The High Society New Orleans Jazz Band

A New Orleans jazz ensemble led by seasoned trumpeter Simon Wettenhall and Grammy-winning pianist Conal Fowkes has served as Woody Allen's preferred musical partner for film projects, live tours, and regular performances over many years. The group has performed on major concert stages across Europe and the United States. Members have appeared in and contributed music to several of Allens films including Wild Man Blues, Sweet and Lowdown, Midnight in Paris, Blue Jasmine, Cafe Society, Magic In The Moonlight, and A Rainy Day In New York. Their energetic sound demonstrates the enduring power of New Orleans jazz, earning them an international following. Praised by critics and jazz enthusiasts alike, they attracted legendary musicians such as Chick Corea, Marian McPartland, Diana Krall, and others who joined for their twenty-year run at the Cafe Carlyle.
