The High Society New Orleans Jazz Band

A New Orleans jazz ensemble led by seasoned trumpeter Simon Wettenhall and Grammy-winning pianist Conal Fowkes has long served as Woody Allen's preferred musical partner for his films, live tours, and regular performances. The group has performed on major concert stages across Europe and the United States. Its members have appeared in and contributed music to Woody Allen productions including Wild Man Blues, Sweet and Lowdown, Midnight in Paris, Blue Jasmine, Cafe Society, Magic In The Moonlight, and A Rainy Day In New York. Their energetic sound reflects the enduring vitality of New Orleans jazz, earning them an international following. Praised by critics and jazz enthusiasts alike, they drew legendary musicians such as Chick Corea, Marian McPartland, and Diana Krall to sit in during their twenty-year run at the Cafe Carlyle.
