The High Society New Orleans Jazz Band

A New Orleans jazz ensemble led by seasoned trombonist Simon Wettenhall and Grammy-winning pianist Conal Fowkes has long served as Woody Allens preferred musical partner for his films, tours, and regular shows. The group has performed on major stages across Europe and America. Its members have appeared in and created music for several of Allens productions including Wild Man Blues, Sweet and Lowdown, Midnight in Paris, Blue Jasmine, Cafe Society, Magic In The Moonlight, and A Rainy Day In New York. Their energetic sound reflects the enduring vitality of New Orleans jazz, earning them a global following. Praised by critics and jazz enthusiasts, they have drawn legendary musicians such as Chick Corea, Marian McPartland, and Diana Krall during their two-decade run at the Cafe Carlyle.
