The Band Memo emerged in New York Citys music scene early 2025, rapidly gaining recognition for their powerful live performances. Their sound channels classic rock energy while maintaining a contemporary and authentic voice. Following the sellout of their initial two headline shows, The Band Memo has quickly become one of New York Citys most anticipated up-and-coming acts.Mr. Mota is a four-piece reggae rock band from Boulder, Colorado, currently based in Brooklyn, New York. They blend the energy of reggae with their own unique style, creating uplifting anthems that resonate with audiences worldwide. Drawing on their love for live performances, Mr. Mota delivers a sound that feels timeless.While studying at the University of Colorado Boulder, the band formed in May 2021 during a university graduation event. One performance was enough to build momentum, leading to numerous opportunities to play throughout Boulder. From there, they adopted the name Mr. Mota and began booking shows wherever possible across Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region. The Fox Theatre in Boulder proved instrumental in their growth.Over time, Mr. Mota gained more recognition, resulting in a summer 2023 tour. They independently booked and headlined over 40 venues throughout the Midwest and East Coast, performing at notable locations including Mercury Lounge (New York City), Nectars (Burlington, Vermont), Portland House of Music (Portland, Maine), and Charleston Pour House (Charleston, South Carolina). The success from this tour led to a Northeast U.S. tour in Winter 2024. With new releases on the horizon, Mr. Mota is ready to bring their music wherever they go.
