A compelling paradox underpins Echoes Of The Inner Prophet, Melissa Aldanas 2024 successor to her celebrated Blue Note Records solo debut in 2022 titled 12 Stars. As the GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist and composer explains, her latest album embodies her personal evolution, adopting a particularly reflective stance. The inner prophet is my own self, now older, who possesses the knowledge, intuition, and truth regarding what path I should follow.
