Marilyn Maye is an acclaimed vocalist, performer, director, educator, Grammy-nominated artist, and musical legend whose life has been dedicated to song and performance. The award-winning singer appeared 76 times on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carsonthe record for a vocalistearning praise from the host after one of her show-stopping performances when he told his audience that this is how its done. She was discovered by Steve Allen, who introduced her to national television audiences multiple times, leading to an RCA recording contract, seven albums and 34 singles.
