Chris Botti

World-class trumpeter Chris Botti returns to Blue Note Jazz Club for his twenty-first consecutive December holiday residency, running four weeks through early January. The lineup changes weekly: Lee Pearson on drums from December 821; Julius Rodriguez at piano and Barry Stephenson on bass during the first half of the run. From December 22 onward, bass duties shift to Phil Norris. Each performance features rotating special guests including vocalist John Splithoff throughout all dates, violinist Anastasiia Mazurok across the entire engagement, guitarist Gilad Hekselman from December 814, saxophonist Chris Potter on two separate runs (December 1721 and December 2729), singer Fernando Varela from December 28 through January 3, vocalist Veronica Swift during the first half of the residency, and Sy Smith performing from December 15 to 25. The club offers a full bar and dinner menu with a $20 minimum per person charge. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis; arriving early secures party seating together. Bar area seats are limited and fill quickly. When all table seats are taken, the remaining bar space becomes standing room only. Table seating welcomes all ages; patrons must be 21 or older to purchase bar tickets. Tickets purchased for incorrect dates or times will not be honored and no refunds apply.
