Anderson Brothers & Friends

Peter and Will Anderson, identical twin clarinetists and saxophonists who graduated from Juilliard, have performed at The Blue Note, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Feinsteins 54 Below, and on Garrison Keillors Prairie Home Companion. Their music has been featured in the Grammy-winning soundtrack for HBO's Boardwalk Empire with Vince Giordanos Nighthawks. Vanity Fair magazine included their debut album among Four New Releases to Make You Love Jazz, while the Washington Post described their work as imaginatively unfolding in ways that consistently bring a fresh perspective to classic jazz. The Andersons received a 2014 Drama Desk nomination for their Off-Broadway production Le Jazz Hot at Manhattans 59E59, one of eight sold-out shows there. Recently, they raised over $25,000 to establish the Joe Temperley Juilliard Student Scholarship Fund and created a tribute album honoring their late great saxophone mentor. Their work has appeared in major motion pictures including Revolutionary Road, Killers of the Flower Moon, Boardwalk Empire, and The Marvelous Ms. Maisel.
