About the Event
Trevarri Huff-Boone is a saxophonist, composer, arranger, and educator who calls New Orleans home after being born in Shreveport, Louisiana. He earned his bachelor's degree from Loyola University and his master's from the University of New Orleans. His performance career includes working with notable jazz musicians like Chico Hamilton, Donald Harrison, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Robert Glasper, Tom Browne, Stephanie Jordan, Evan Christopher, Victor Goines, Delfeayo Marsalis, Ellis Marsalis, and Rufus Reid. He is a member of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, performs regularly with both the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra, and leads his own projects that combine modern jazz, composition, and cross-genre experimentation. Shows are held at 7:30pm and 9:30pm; doors open at 7:00pm and 9:00pm respectively. The restaurant operates from 5pm to 10pm for dinner before or after the performances. Advance ticket holders may automatically reserve a table in the Dining Room through OpenTable.com, or email reservations@snugjazz.com to book directly after purchasing tickets online. Dinner service without advance concert tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival. Please note that only cheese and charcuterie trays are available for table service inside the Music Room to preserve the quiet atmosphere of our intimate concerts. We recommend arriving at least 90 minutes before your showtime to enjoy full dinner service in the Dining Room located right next door, then moving into the Music Room for your ticketed performance.
