About the Event
A New Orleans acoustic soul singer-songwriter brings jazz, latin, flamenco, klezmer, and reggae influences to her poetic lyrics about struggle, love, social justice, and healing. After releasing her debut album Breaking Shadows in 2019 and EP Glitter in 2023, she will drop a solo live album Live in Berlin this winter. She performs regularly on Royal Street in the French Quarter and has played venues including The Kennedy Center and The New Orleans Jazz Museum. This free concert features Sariyah Idan on vocals and guitar, Nick Benoit on bass, and Gabe Marshall on drums. Doors open at 4 pm; the show runs from 4:30 to 6 pm. Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro remains open for dinner from 5 pm until 10 pm after the performance. Seating is first come-first served. Tips are encouraged and go directly to the musicians. This weekly live series can also be viewed by streaming on the Snug Harbor Facebook page.
