Rick Margitza New Orleans All-Stars presents Rick Margitza, an internationally celebrated jazz saxophonist whose dynamic, hard-swinging style seamlessly blends contemporary jazz with profound bebop foundations. Born in New York and raised in Paris, Margitza earned widespread acclaim in the late 1980s as a member of Miles Davis's band, performing on the Grammy-winning album Aura and the live recording Amandla. He has since led his own ensembles and recorded extensively as both bandleader and sideman, working with artists including Chick Corea, Tony Williams, Eddie Gomez, and McCoy Tyner. Renowned for his lyrical phrasing and adventurous improvisation, Margitza remains a highly respected figure on the global jazz stage. This performance includes: Rick Margitza - saxophone, Michael Pellera - piano, Steve Masakowski - guitar, James Singleton - bass, Jeff Boudreaux - drums. Shows begin at 7:30pm and 9:30pm with doors opening at 7:00pm and 9:00pm respectively. The restaurant operates from 5pm to 10pm for dinner before or after your showtime.
