Martin Masakowski and John Maestas present their Happy Hour Concert Series. Bassist Martin Masakowski and drummer John Maestas are two highly regarded New Orleans musicians celebrated for their adaptability, musical instinct, and powerful collaborative synergy. Masakowski, part of the distinguished Masakowski musical lineage, is an inventive bassist and composer who has collaborated across jazz, funk, and improvised music with artists throughout the New Orleans scene and internationally. Maestas is a dynamic and sensitive drummer whose groove-oriented yet exploratory style has made him a sought-after collaborator in jazz and creative music contexts. Together they deliver a compelling fusion of tradition, spontaneity, and contemporary expression at each performance. Doors open at 4:30 pm; the show runs from 5 to 6 pm. These performances are available for viewing live on Snug Harbor Facebook page or in person every Wednesday. This is a free event with no ticketing required. Seating is allocated on a first come-first served basis.
