Arecipient of the Chamber Music America Performance Plus grant, Shiraishis debutalbum featuring Herlin Riley, Max Moran, Andrew Baham and Julian Lee, is set to bereleased in 2026. Already having developed a self-assured, recognisable voice as acomposer and improviser, her music is melodically driven, harmonically rich, andimbued with swing. She has gained attention in the traditional music scene,appearing with Shannon Powell, Kermit Ruffins, Stephen Walker and thePreservation Hall All-Stars.
