Ethan Santos

Ethan Santos is a Filipino-American multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, composer, arranger, and educator who hails from Fresno, California. After relocating to New Orleans, he rapidly established himself within both the local and international music scenes, performing with artists including Leroy Jones, Nicholas Payton, Terence Blanchard, Trumpet Mafia, Delfeayo Marsalis's Tiny Universe, Tank & the Bangas, Dumpstaphunk, Ghost-Note, Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience, Louis Cole, and the London-based ensemble Incognito. Santos has performed at major venues and festivals such as the Kennedy Center and New Orleans Jazz Fest. Offstage, he serves as adjunct trombone professor at Tulane University and currently leads a New Orleans-based septet that blends brass band traditions with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, funk, and R&B influences to create original music rooted in community, collaboration, and cultural innovation. This performance features Ethan Santos on trombone, Seth Finch on keys, Orlando Gilbert on tenor saxophone, Alfred Jordan on drums, David Mckissick on trumpet, Christos Melios on guitar, and Max Moran on bass. Shows are scheduled for 7:30pm and 9:30pm with doors opening at 7pm and 9pm respectively. The restaurant is open from 5pm to 10pm for dinner before or after the showtime. Advance ticket holders can now automatically make dinner table reservations for the Dining Room online via OpenTable.com. Advance ticket-holders may also make table reservations for dinner by emailing reservations@snugjazz.com after their tickets have been purchased online. Dinner service without advance concert tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival. The bar room is open from 5pm to midnight for all guests, with or without tickets. Kind reminder: Snug Harbor does not serve the full menu inside the Music Room. They do offer cheese and charcuterie tray options. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet, and focus of their world-class intimate concerts, only the charcuterie, cocktails, and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, they encourage guests to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to their showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door before getting seated in the Music Room for their ticketed showtime.
