Delfeayo Marsalis & the Uptown Jazz Orchestra

Delfeayo Marsalis and his Uptown Jazz Orchestra feature an acclaimed trombonist, producer, and educator celebrated for technical mastery, inventive vision, and a touch of humor that has earned him praise from major publications as one of the most imaginative and musical trombonists of his generation. He has performed with legends such as Ray Charles, Fats Domino, Art Blakey, and Elvin Jones, released ten critically acclaimed recordings as leader, and built a reputation for delivering joy to audiences. When they perform, expect an all-night jazz party filled with extraordinary joy and fun that only New Orleans can provide. Performances occur at 7:30pm and 9:30pm; doors open at 7:00pm and 9:00pm respectively. The restaurant operates from 5pm to 10pm for dinner before or after the show. Advance ticket holders may reserve dining room tables online via OpenTable.com or by email at reservations@snugjazz.com after purchasing tickets. Those without advance concert tickets receive first-come, first-served seating based on arrival time. Please note that the full menu is not served inside the Music Room; only cheese and charcuterie trays are available for table service there to preserve the quiet focus of our intimate concerts. We recommend arriving at least 90 minutes before your showtime to enjoy a complete dinner in the adjacent Dining Room before being seated for your ticketed performance.
