Delfeayo Marsalis & the Uptown Jazz Orchestra

Delfeayo Marsalis is a celebrated trombonist, producer, and educator recognized for his technical mastery, creative vision, and characteristic humor. He has been described as one of the most imaginative and musical trombonists of his generation. His career includes performances with legendary artists such as Ray Charles, Fats Domino, Art Blakey, and Elvin Jones. As a leader he has released ten critically acclaimed recordings while building a reputation for consistently delivering joy to audiences. When Delfeayo performs with the Uptown Jazz Orchestra, listeners are promised an all-night jazz celebration. The orchestra pushes the boundaries of big band music through an extraordinary sense of joy and fun rooted in New Orleans tradition. Concerts occur at 7:30pm and 9:30pm with doors opening at 7:00pm and 9:00pm respectively. A restaurant operates from 5pm to 10pm, offering dinner before or after the performances. Advance ticket holders may secure dining room reservations through an online platform. They can also book tables by email after purchasing tickets. Dinner service for those without advance concert tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival. Please note that the full menu is not served inside the Music Room. Only a charcuterie and cheese tray along with cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service in the intimate performance space. To enjoy complete dinner service in the adjacent dining room before your showtime, we recommend arriving at least ninety minutes early.
