Delfeayo Marsalis & the Uptown Jazz Orchestra

Delfeayo Marsalis leads an acclaimed trombonist, producer, and educator who brings technical mastery, inventive musicality, and humor to every performance. Recognized as one of the most imaginative and musically gifted trombonists of his generation, he has collaborated with legends such as Ray Charles, Fats Domino, Art Blakey, and Elvin Jones. His ten solo recordings have received widespread critical praise, earning him a reputation for consistently delivering joyful music. When Delfeayo and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra perform, audiences experience an all-night jazz celebration defined by extraordinary joy and fun that only New Orleans can provide. The orchestra pushes big band boundaries with an infectious sense of playfulness. Performances occur at 7:30pm and 9:30pm; doors open at 7:00pm and 9:00pm respectively. A restaurant operates from 5pm to 10pm, offering dinner before or after the concert. Advance ticket holders may reserve dining room tables online through OpenTable.com or by emailing reservations@snugjazz.com after purchasing tickets. Without advance tickets, table service is first-come, first-served based on arrival time. Please note that the full menu is not available for service inside the Music Room. Only cheese and charcuterie trays, cocktails, and soft drinks are served in the intimate concert space to preserve the quiet atmosphere essential for world-class performances. We recommend arriving at least 90 minutes before your showtime to enjoy complete dinner service in the adjacent Dining Room before taking a seat for your ticketed performance.
