Dave Stryker Quartet Dave Stryker is an acclaimed jazz guitarist, composer, and educator known for his soulful tone, blues-infused style, and deep groove. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Stryker rose to prominence as a longtime member of organist Jack McDuffs band, where he honed his hard-swinging approach. He has since recorded dozens of albums as a leader and sideman and performed with jazz greats including Stanley Turrentine, Joey DeFrancesco, Kevin Mahogany, and Stefon Harris.
