Dave Stryker

Dave Stryker is a celebrated jazz guitarist, composer, and teacher recognized for his rich tone, blues-based playing style, and powerful groove. Hailing originally from Omaha, Nebraska, he gained recognition as a long-standing member of organist Jack McDuff's ensemble, where he refined his dynamic approach to the instrument. He has since released numerous albums as both leader and collaborator and shared stages with legendary musicians including Stanley Turrentine, Joey DeFrancesco, Kevin Mahogany, and Stefon Harris. A respected instructor and writer, Stryker remains a significant force in jazz through his recordings, live performances, and commitment to musical education. Performances begin at 7:30pm and 9:30pm with doors opening at 7:00pm and 9:00pm respectively. The dining area is open from 5pm until 10pm for meals before or after your concert. Holders of advance tickets may now book dinner tables in the Dining Room through OpenTable.com. Advance ticket purchasers can also reserve table service by emailing info@snugjazz.com following purchase online. Dinner service without advance tickets operates on a first-come, first-served basis subject to availability upon arrival. The Bar Room remains open from 5pm until midnight with or without concert admission. Please note that Snug Harbor does not provide food inside the Music Room. To maintain the quiet atmosphere and focus of our intimate performances, only cocktails, soft drinks, and charcuterie are offered for table service within the Music Room. We encourage you to arrive before your showtime or remain afterward to enjoy dinner in the Dining Room.
