Clarence Johnson III Quartet

Clarence Johnson III Quartet presents an evening of dynamic saxophone performances and versatile musical expression. A native of New Orleans, Clarence has built a distinguished career spanning more than thirty years as a recording artist, performer, educator, and television guest. His distinctive sound blends jazz fusion with Coltrane-inspired impressionism and Sun Ras futuristic sensibilities. Throughout his work he has collaborated with Delfeayo Marsalis, the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Dr. John, the Neville Brothers, Allen Toussaint, The Meters, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Gladys Knight, and Wynton Marsalis. Tonight the quartet features Clarence Johnson III on saxophone, John Jones on drums, Darrell Lavigne on piano, and Brian Quezergue on bass. Showtimes are 7:30pm and 9:30pm with doors opening at 7:00pm and 9:00pm respectively. The restaurant operates from 5pm to 10pm for dinner before or after the concert. Without advance tickets, table service is first-come, first-served based on arrival time. Please arrive at least ninety minutes prior to your showtime to enjoy full dinner service in the Dining Room before entering the Music Room for your concert. Note that only cheese and charcuterie trays are served inside the Music Room; the full menu is available in the Dining Room.
