Charlie Halloran & TropicalesHappy Hour Concert Series presents Charlie Halloran & Tropicales, an ensemble rooted in New Orleans that fuses Afro-Caribbean rhythms, classic Latin jazz, and contemporary New Orleans grooves into an energetic, danceable sound. Inspired by Cuban son, mambo, and Caribbean traditions, the group reinterprets familiar forms while staying true to their heritage, showcasing lush horn arrangements, driving percussion, and heartfelt improvisation. Celebrated for dynamic live performances and a deep rhythmic pulse, Tropicales has established itself as a leading force in New Orleans music, delivering tropical flair and modern jazz sensibility across audiences locally and beyond. This concert includes: Charlie Halloran on trombone, Brent Rose on saxophone, Pete Olynciw on bass, Nahum Zdybel on guitar, Doug Garrison on drums, and Jafet Perez on percussion. Doors open at 4:30 pm; the show runs from 5 to 6 pm. Performances are available in person or via streaming on Snug Harbor Facebook page.
