A New Orleans quartet founded in 1978 has entertained listeners globally for over four decades through its distinctive fusion of avant-garde improvisation and telepathic musical dialogue rooted in deep Louisiana rhythms. The founder, Dagradi, named the ensemble after his pursuit of elevated spiritual awareness. Rolling Stone characterized their sound as ECM-inspired elegance blended with New Orleans atmospheric warmth. This evenings program includes Tony Dagradi on saxophone, Steve Masakowski on guitar, James Singleton on bass, and John Vidacovich on drums. Performances begin at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm; doors open at 7 pm and 9 pm respectively. The restaurant operates from 5 pm until 11 pm for meals before or after the concerts. Ticket holders may book dinner tables in advance through OpenTable.com, or by emailing reservations@snugjazz.com with their request details alongside ticket confirmation numbers once purchased online. Without tickets, dining is on a first-come, first-served basis subject to space availability upon arrival. The bar room remains open from 5 pm until midnight for all guests regardless of ticket status. Please note that the full menu is not available inside the Music Room; only cheese and charcuterie selections are served there. To maintain the quiet atmosphere essential to our intimate concerts, only charcuterie platters, cocktails, and soft drinks may be ordered at tables within the Music Room. We recommend arriving at least ninety minutes before your showtime to enjoy complete dinner service in the adjacent Dining Room before settling into the Music Room for your concert.
