Cuban percussionist Alexey Marti has called New Orleans home since 2008, captivating audiences across the city with his dynamic live performances. His discography includes two albumsTravesia and Mundothat fuse timba, jazz, funk, Afro-Cuban folk traditions, salsa, son, rumba, and New Orleans rhythms into original compositions. As a member of the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra and leader of his own musical groups, Marti blends contemporary New Orleans percussion with vibrant Cuban conga and rumba sounds to deliver an energetic, dance-driven experience. Performances occur at 7:30pm and 9:30pm; doors open at 7:00pm and 9:00pm respectively. The restaurant operates from 5pm until 11pm for pre- or post-show dining. Advance ticket holders may secure table reservations in the Dining Room through OpenTable.com, or by emailing reservations@snugjazz.com with their confirmation details and reservation request after purchasing tickets online. Those without advance tickets receive first-come, first-served seating subject to availability upon arrival. The Bar Room is open from 5pm to midnight for all guests, whether they hold tickets or not. Please note that the Music Room does not serve the full dining menu; only cheese and charcuterie trays are available for table service there. To maintain the intimate atmosphere of our world-class concerts, only charcuterie, cocktails, and soft drinks may be served in the Music Room. We recommend arriving at least 90 minutes before your performance to enjoy complete dinner service in the adjacent Dining Room before taking your seat for your ticketed show.
