Across The Pond Guitar Festival

Four master guitarists perform at Snug Harbor's Across The Pond Guitar Festival, where Canadian virtuoso Adrian Raso blends gypsy jazz, rock, and world music influences in fiery collaboration with Romani brass legends Fanfare Ciocrlia. Italian guitarist Gavino Loche delivers jaw-dropping fingerstyle work that unites jazz, blues, rock, and Sardinian folk traditions. New Orleans veteran Jimmy Robinson adds his acoustic sound shaped by classical study, prog-rock roots, and decades of touring from Europe to Jazz Fest. Local legend Phil deGruy closes the night with a custom 17-string hybrid instrument that blurs lines between jazz, classical, pop, and pure imagination.Two performances at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm. Doors open at 7 pm and 9 pm respectively. The restaurant serves dinner from 5 pm to 11 pm before or after the shows. Advance ticket holders may make table reservations for the Dining Room via OpenTable.com, or by emailing reservations@snugjazz.com with their confirmation number and reservation details after purchase. Dinner service without advance tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival. The bar room remains open from 5 pm to midnight for all guests, regardless of ticket status. Please note that the full menu is not served inside the Music Room; only cheese and charcuterie trays are available for table service there. To enjoy full dinner service in the adjacent Dining Room before your show, arrive at least ninety minutes prior to performance time.
