Open Mic Performer Sign-Ups

This registration page is for Open Mic performers only. We have transitioned to online sign-ups for our Monday Open Mic show. To register and participate, please add a slot to your cart when they become available at 11 AM CST. There are currently eighteen slots open. To ensure broad participation, we request that songwriters do not book two consecutive Open Mic Night events. Writers on the roster must be present at the venue and have checked in with the host by 5:15 PM on the Monday evening of their scheduled performance. We will honor any existing Play Next Time stamps but are no longer distributing additional ones. Please remember these guidelines remain active: Each participating writer receives one to two original songs, performed solo or accompanied by up to two others on stage. Drums and backing tracks are prohibited. A house Taylor Grand Pacific guitar and a Kawai digital piano (88-weighted keys) are available for use. Each performer may bring one guest. Open Mic Nights are made possible by The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The RIAA acknowledges the significance of The Bluebird Cafe in offering opportunities not only to established writers and artists but also to those developing their talents and careers. More information about RIAA is available here. Tickets for guests attending Open Mic Night are not reserved ahead of time. These seats are offered on a first-come, first-served basis when doors open. Please note you may be seated with individuals outside your immediate party.
