The consistently polished Wayne Newton remains and will always remain Mr. Las Vegas. The distinguished crooner and entertainer even bears a street named after him at the international airport of Las Vegas. A master performer, Newton has delighted crowds since his childhood, singing beside his elder brother Jerry. After the young brothers arrived in Las Vegas, where they began performing six performances nightly for six nights weekly, Wayne was on course to become a legend. Over the following decades, Newton cemented his elite status, evolving from the youthful singer of the 1960s into the charismatic Mr. Entertainer of Las Vegas. He came to dominate Sin City, at one time becoming its highest paid performer. In total, he has completed more than 30,000 live performances and continues to do so.
