Vicki Barbolak At Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club

At 38 years old, Barbolak discovered an advertisement for a stand-up comedy class and decided to enroll in ita decision that would fundamentally alter her life path. Over the following years she performed at open mic nights, and through connections made via Mitzi Shore, owner of The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, she gradually gained confidence on stage and began treating her career as a comedian with seriousness. To support her developing but modestly paid comedy work, she launched a wedding chapel business and was ordained as a minister. She is perhaps best known for the role of Trailer Nasty Housewife within Funniest Housewives of Orange County, an ensemble group of comedians who have been performing together since 2009. However, it was not until 2018, when she turned sixty, that she finally achieved major recognition: this was the year she appeared on Season 13 of NBCs Americas Got Talent and finished as a Top 10 finalist. Following her success on the program, Barbolak embarked on an ongoing worldwide Trailer Nasty! tour.
