The Record Company - Give It Back To You 10th Anniversary Tour

The Record Company celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2021 with a tour celebrating their debut album Give It Back To You. Formed in late 2011, Chris Vos on vocals and guitar, Alex Stiff on bass and backing vocals, and Marc Cazorla on drums and backing vocals met after listening to classic blues records like John Lee Hooker's "Hooker N Heat" and sharing stories of their favorite concerts including Iggy Pop at Los Feliz. Their living room quickly became the band's creative hub as they wrote songs, performed for friends, and recorded and mixed their debut album Give It Back To You. The group blended Delta blues soul with classic rock energy, recording much of the material live to give Off the Ground, Rita Mae Young, and On the Move a raw, immediate feel while incorporating slide guitar, pedal steel, piano, and harmonica to showcase both tradition and modern energy. Tickets ranged from $45 to $60. Club Policy seating was communal and first come first served with a $20 food or beverage minimum per person, full bar available, and a full dinner menu.
