Mermaid Comedy Hour is a monthly performance series at the historic Hollywood Improv venue, showcasing Los Angeles' most promising female and nonbinary comedians. With an established reputation for community engagement and entertainment, MCH has operated for more than a decade while presenting fresh lineups each month. Past performers include Chelsea Handler, Margaret Cho, Taylor Tomlinson, Atsuko Okastuka, Beth Stelling, Lisa Ann Walter, Nicole Byer, Nikki Glaser, Maria Bamford, Zainab Johnson, Steph Tolev, Aparna Nancherla and many others. The show is produced by Valerie Tosi, Kari Assad and Dani Otter. Tickets are exclusively sold through the official website; reselling is not permitted and tickets suspected of being purchased solely for resale may be cancelled at the discretion of Hollywood Improv. A minimum purchase of two items is required in the showroom for all guests. Seating is general admission on a first-come, first-served basis except for groups and premium booths. Cell phone use, photography or video recording during performances is prohibited. All sales are final.
