A world-renowned percussionist whose name has defined music for over five decades, Pete Escovedo shattered boundaries between smooth jazz, salsa, Latin jazz, and modern sounds. Known globally for his live shows, session work, and solo albums, he was inspired as a boy by watching musicians perform on nightclub steps. Music became his escape. At fifteen, he began sketching and painting on any available wood or cardboardanything within reach.
