Gold Coast Jazz: Niki Haris with the Shelly Berg Trio

Niki Haris is a singer, dancer, actress, choreographer, and daughter of Grammy® Award-nominated jazz pianist Gene Harris. Her vocal work has featured many prominent figures in the music industry. Shelly Berg is a Steinway piano artist and five-time Grammy® nominated arranger, orchestrator, and producer with numerous recordings to his credit; he serves as Dean of the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. As Bill Kohlhasse wrote for the LA Times, "Berg is a whirlwind on the piano bench who never sounds a dull note." The Trio includes bassist Chuck Bergeron and drummer Gary Novak. This evening offers jazz, soul, and blues with exceptional vocals and an outstanding piano trio.
