QC MLK Day Celebration: Tyreek McDole

Rising jazz vocalist Tyreek McDole returns to perform his debut album Open Up Your Senses, weaving original compositions with freedom songs and spirituals into a space for reflection, unity, and collective healing. This concert is more than an evening of musicits a journey through sound grounded in the rich legacy of Black American Music. Part of QCs annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration honoring Dr. Kings enduring legacy and his historic 1965 speech at Colden Auditorium, the event opens with the MLK ceremony at 3 PM, followed by McDoles performance at 4 PM.
