About the Event
Albert Lee has collaborated with artists ranging from Jerry Lee Lewis to Eric Clapton and Emmylou Harris. As a member of The Crickets after Buddy Holly's passing, he built an acclaimed solo career over the years. In 2025/26 he will tour performing songs from his latest album Lay It Down, recorded at the historic Konk Studios in London. Tracks include Mark Knopflers explosive Setting Me Up and Jimmy Webbs soaring piano ballad Too Young To Die, alongside The Everly Brothers' hit The Price Of Love. This release marks Lee's triumphant return to the studio, capturing live performances as one of rock's finest guitarists. Do not miss Mr. Telecaster, a legendary figure in rock, rockabilly and country music known for his extraordinary technical skill, exceptional musical ear, and mastery across all levels. Eric Clapton once wrote: When Saint Peter asks me to recount my time on earth, I can proudly say that for a while I played rhythm guitar with Albert Lee in a band.
