About the Event
Since 2016, Fake It to Make It (FITMI) has served as SafeHomes' signature fundraising showcase, generating more than $1.4 million to help transform domestic violence victims into survivors. Each year the event sells out, and in 2024 it was named Best Fundraising Event by Augusta Magazine readers. FITMI returns in 2026 with teams competing for bragging rights and championship belts across three categories: Top Fundraiser, People's Choice, and Judges' Choice.
