Gregory Alan Isakov, originally from Johannesburg now residing in Colorado, has established himself as a significant figure in indie rock and folk music through six studio albums: That Sea, The Gambler; This Empty Northern Hemisphere; The Weatherman; Gregory Alan Isakov with the Colorado Symphony; Evening Machines (nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Folk Album), and Appaloosa Bones. He performs internationally with his band and has collaborated with major symphony orchestras throughout the United States. His latest album, Appaloosa Bones, was released through Dualtone/Suitcase Town Music. MOJO magazine described it as: "Prime Isakov: his velvet baritone glides over elegant and shimmering Wild West mirages."
