Broken Things - (Artios Academies of Sugar Hill)

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth . . . but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven . . . For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." - Matthew 6:19-21 We all treasure something - success, approval, comfort, achievement, control. These pursuits promise fulfillment, yet often leave our hearts restless. In our Spring Recital, Broken Things, the Artios Dance & Choir Departments explore "idols" - the things we chase, crave, and prioritize over God. As Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6, what we treasure ultimately holds our hearts. This recital invites us to reflect on where our treasure truly lies - and to remember that even in our brokenness, we belong to Him.
