The Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the world's most prestigious mountain festival to over 600 communities across more than 40 countries, celebrating outstanding achievements in outdoor storytelling and filmmaking. Each year, award-winning films and audience favorites are carefully selected from hundreds of submissions for theatrical screenings that explore remote landscapes, address pressing environmental concerns, and deliver intimate perspectives on extreme sports. The 2025/2026 tour opens doors at five o'clock for early access to outdoor equipment displays, local drinks, raffles, and socializing with fellow enthusiasts before the main program begins at seven each evening. This provocative journey through mountain culture aims to inspire and move audiences worldwide. Tickets are priced at twenty-five dollars when purchased in advance or thirty dollars on the day of the event. The festival is presented by the Duluth Cross-Country Ski Club.
