My name is Mark Hunter, born in Freetown Sierra Leone. I moved to boarding school in Ghana at 11. On Mfantsipim school campus in Ghana I was a foreign student blessed to absorb some of the language and culture of Ghana. From Ghana I came straight to college at Otterbein in Westerville OH. which was an even more foreign experience, and I have lived in Ohio since. I AM the lead singer of The ARK Band and C LA C I (pronounced Selassie I) is my stage name. Solo I play ACOUSTIC roots storytelling music that draws from Reggae Country and African influences
