Will Overman & Grady Spencer: Somewhere Upstate

Will Overman is a singer-songwriter born in Virginia who now calls Nashville home. Frequently compared to John Mayer due to his Appalachian roots, he delivers emotionally charged vocals and lyrics that blend alternative rock with country influences, reflecting an restless creative spirit. After graduating, he worked various jobs including assisting special needs elementary students and framing homes. He met his wife Kaci in Lubbock; they later moved to Fort Worth in 2012 to start a new life. Grady began cultivating connections within the Fort Worth music community and eventually secured representation with Nashville-based booking agency red11 music. Over several years, he built his band into local staples within Fort Worths growing arts scene. In January 2020, he left his decade-long construction career to pursue music full-time. After experiencing lineup changes over the years, Grady was joined by bassist and multi-instrumentalist Johnny Hatcher, guitarist and producer Tyler Martin, and drummer Jesse Fox who also handles percussion and stage production.
