One Mission Bigger Than All of Us.Smash Homelessness returns to Charleston for its second year, bringing together 24 of the citys most celebrated chefs, restaurants, and local personalities for a one day event where food meets purpose.Each ticket unlocks a one of a kind experience.When you arrive, you will be assigned your chef at random. No menu spoilers. No advance reveals. Just one chef, one burger, created exclusively for this event. A surprise collaboration between Charlestons culinary community and you.Hosted by Smash City Burgers in partnership with Hoops Against Homelessness, a local charity founded in 2020 by Wade Altum at just six years old, this event directly supports organizations providing shelter, resources, and long term solutions for individuals experiencing homelessness in Charleston and surrounding counties. In 2025, the charity raised over $16,000.
