About the Event
An intimate acoustic evening of live jazz in a restored 19th-century Victorian brownstone within Bedford-Stuyvesants historic community. Curator Debbie McClain and bassist Eric Lemons host this Sunday afternoon series, featuring upright piano, standup bass, and trap drums. The venue connects the two historic jazz hubsBed-Stuy and SugarHill/Harlemwhere Ella Fitzgerald once sang of the A Train linking them. This old-school jazz experience brings together past legends and contemporary frontier musicians in authentic swing style. Tables and seats are limited; early purchase is advised. Dress to impress with cocktail or period attire encouraged. Leave jeans, shorts, t-shirts, athletic wear, tank tops, backpacks, shopping bags, pets, smoking, vaping, and ID checks at the door. No refunds under any circumstances.
