BrownstoneJAZZ FEST brings intimate acoustic live performances to an authentic 19th-century Victorian brownstone in Bedford-Stuyvesants historic central Brooklyn community, where visitors feel transported back in time upon entering. The event showcases both classic jazz legends and contemporary frontier artists through ensembles that swing with genuine style, offering something for all ages since Bed-Stuy, Harlem, and SugarHill were once vibrant jazz hubs when Ella Fitzgerald sang Take the A Train linking New Yorks two musical centers. Curator Debbie McClain and M.C., bassist Eric Lemon welcome guests to explore this old-school venue for a unique jazz experience; both have years of industry involvement presenting major acts with extensive credentials. For a limited time, secure tickets early as tables and seats are scarce. Dress impressivelyathletic wear, tank tops, or t-shirts are not permitted inside (no refunds). Jazz events are arranged on-site. No pets, smoking, vaping, shopping bags, or backpacks allowed due to limited space; bring your own brown bag if desired.
