About the Event
BrownstoneJAZZ WEEKEND offers an intimate acoustic experience featuring live performances on Fridays at 7:30pm or 9:30pm, Saturdays at 7:30pm or 9:30pm, and Sundays at 4pm or 6pm. Set within a restored 19th-century Victorian brownstone in Bedford-Stuyvesants historic central Brooklyn neighborhood, the venue transports visitors to an earlier era through its preserved architecture. BrownstoneJAZZ ensembles showcase both classic jazz legends of the past and contemporary frontier musicians, delivering authentic swing music suitable for all audiences. The area once hosted major jazz communities alongside Harlem and Sugar Hill, as noted in Ella Fitzgeralds song Take the A Train. Curator Debbie McClain and M.C., bassist Eric Lemons guide guests through this vintage venue to discover a unique musical atmosphere. Tickets are available for this limited private event. Both Eric and Debbie have extensive experience presenting major artists across the music industry. For a short period, table and seat availability is restricted; early purchase is recommended as sales move quickly. Guests should dress impressively in casual-classy attire or vintage fashionjeans, shorts, t-shirts, hoodies, athletic wear, tank tops, shopping bags, backpacks, pets, and ID are not permitted inside the room. Refunds are not issued under any circumstances.
