BrownstoneJAZZ FEST offers an intimate acoustic experience in a restored 19th-century Victorian brownstone within Bedford-Stuyvesants historic community, transporting visitors to an earlier era as they enter its doors. The ensemble presents the finest of past jazz legends and contemporary frontier artists, with musicians performing authentic swing styles that appeal to all audiences. Both Bed-Stuy and Harlem were once vibrant jazz hubs; when Ella Fitzgerald sang Take the A Train linking New Yorks two musical centers, you are invited into this magical soundscape. Curator Debbie McClain and M.C./bassist Eric Lemons guide guests through this old-school venue for a unique jazz encounterboth have years of experience presenting major artists across the music industry.
